LS Christmas Celebration ~ Parent Volunteers Needed

The LS Christmas Celebration – Angel Brunch – is just around the corner on Friday, December 16th. All LS students, K4-5th grade will be together for this special event. The LS Christmas Chapel begins promptly at 8:30 AM and will be held in Faith Hall. Chapel highlights include Christmas songs, K Prep and TK presentation, Mrs. Leslie Scott’s Ballet group performance and ends with a special treat – LS Teacher and Staff presentation. Please plan to join your child for this event.

Students will enjoy a Christmas movie as they prepare to transition to the other side of Faith Hall for Christmas treats and crafts. This year, the LS PTF parents have provided a “Pancake Bar” with toppings. The children will also complete a small craft, celebrating J.O.Y., as a memento of the 2011 LS Christmas Celebration.

We need your help! Three parents per class (minimum) are needed to assist with setting up decorations in Faith Hall/Lakeside prior to the brunch – beginning after drop off at the LS (7:30-8:00 AM). In addition, three parents per class are needed to help with clean-up following the brunch. Please contact your class coordinator for more details and to sign up. Your help is what allows us to provide these types of fun and memorable seasonal activities for the students.
