Mrs. Buck's class was blessed to have retired Lt. Col. Tim Madgett visit the classroom recently. Lt. Col. Madgett was a fighter pilot in the Air Force. He most recently was working in Afghanistan as a civilian. The class had been praying for Mr. Madgett for several weeks and had sent him a prayer booklet with each student in the class finding a Psalm and illustrating it to encourage him while he was away from his family. Mr. Madgett graciously accepted an invitation to visit the class. He brought all of his fighter pilot clothing and helmets, along with replicas of planes he flew. The class was fascinated and came away with a new appreciation for the sacrifices of our military men and women.
