TFA Lower School Gives Thanks In A Big Way!

Many wonderful memories were created this Thanksgiving season. I am especially grateful for our great teachers and staff who provide such excellent learning opportunities for students.

Second Grade
Mrs. Buck's 2nd grade class had a great time planning, writing, and editing their Thanksgiving stories in preparation for The Thanksgiving Showcase. The students wrote about why they were thankful for their families. They enjoyed reading the stories to their parents who then read the reasons why they were thankful for their child/children. After the stories, the students performed "The Boastful Roastful," recited Psalm 100:1-5, and sang "There is None Like You." It was a wonderful way to begin our Thanksgiving holiday.

Third Grade
"Be thankful unto Him and bless His name!" Third Grade students and parents enjoyed their Thanksgiving Celebration! Students read their writing pieces about their thankfulness for the Lord's blessings in their lives.

They also recited Psalm 100, told some funny jokes about turkeys and pilgrims, and sang a new song they learned about the Ten Commandments. We had a wonderful time of fellowship!

Support Staff join the Fun
We are all very thankful for the wonderful support staff that work behind the scenes to bless teachers, students and parents. They have fun too!

 Talented Parents
Many parents use their talents and skills to bless our school. K Prep students enjoyed a delicious turkey cake at the Thanksgiving Feast.
